The International School Almere was founded on 10 July 2002. The school is an official IB World School, with the Diploma Programme authorised in 2010 and the Middle Years programme in 2012. It is a small school which attracts expats and international students in the Almere region. In 2011, the school moved to a new campus in Almere Poort.
