Bedford Girls' School is an independent school for girls which opened in 2010 after a merger between Bedford High School and Dame Alice Harpur School. Before the merger, each school had been operating since 1882. The school is academically selective and provides a high standard of education. Sxith Form students can choose between taking the IB Diploma or A-Levels.
