Live Course

7th - 13th August 2021

Join our IB tutors live for online workshops in 6 key IB subjects.

Ask our IB experts all the questions you may have, and collaborate with other students starting the IB this year!

Recorded Workshops

Not able to join our live course? Looking for workshops that you can follow at your own pace? For the first time EIB is creating a series of online workshops, made with our excellent team of course tutors, that you can sign up for instead of or alongside our live course!

These workshops will be structured with practice questions and additional exercises, just like at our live courses.

Resources you can keep

Whether you choose to attend the live course, or follow our recorded workshops, you will have access to all of your course resources for months after the course.

This includes recordings of the sessions, practice questions and subject guides from our tutors, and EIB’s own resources.

Not sure if our course is right for you?

We are offering one free recorded taster module to all students, so you can first try our course out and see if it’s the right fit.

Which course is right for me?

Live course: If you feel that you have missed out on subject content learning, this is the course for you. Get to grips with the first IBDP topics, focus on “assumed knowledge” components of the syllabi, and plug knowledge gaps in real-time with world class tutors.

Recorded course: If you feel your weaknesses are more to do with skills-based learning, and understanding core elements of the IBDP (EE, TOK, Internal Assessments) this course may be right for you. Study in your own time, from any time-zone, and if you feel after finishing the course you could use a little bit of private support, get in touch and we can line you up with an expert tutor.

Combine them! Or best of all, why not combine them? Follow one or two live classes for the subjects you feel you need the most help with and add access to our pre-recorded skills workshops to refer to throughout your first IB year.

Live Course

Individual workshops are offered in a number of IB subjects on the Pre-IB Revision Course:

  • Maths: Analysis & Approaches
  • Maths: Applications & Interpretation
  • Biology
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • ESS

The IB syllabi outline the ‘presumed knowledge’ that students are expected to have, regardless of their previous curriculum, so tutors will make sure this is covered in detail before introducing you to the first IB topics.

If you feel as though you missed any key content learning, and want to plug knowledge gaps in real time with world class tutors, then this is the course for you.

Each workshop will give you a deep understanding of how your subject is structured and leave you feeling confident ahead of your IBDP.

Recorded Workshops

This year we are offering pre-recorded versions of Core workshops in TOK and EE, along with modules teaching study skills and exam preparation. These Core workshops are only available in our pre-recorded format.

The Core IB Workshops are the perfect opportunity for you to develop the essential academic skills needed to balance your workload and understand the IB in detail before your first day.

Tutors will cover how to implement good study habits, academic writing and referencing, and the all important IB skill: time management. Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and CAS will also be discussed in detail, putting you on the early track to securing these often overlooked 3 core points in your final grades.

Study in your own time, from any time-zone, and if you feel after finishing the course you could use a little bit of private support, get in touch and we can line you up with an expert tutor!

Led by outstanding tutors

Our tutors are all top-scoring IB graduates, teachers, or examiners, meaning they know the syllabus, and the realities of studying the IB programme, inside out. EIB specialise in the IB and our core team is made up of IB graduates, so we can advise on everything from choosing subjects with a view to specific uni courses, balancing your time between things like your visual arts coursework and your chemistry IA, and how to handle the pressures and stress of the IB.

94% of our 2020 course attendees said they felt more confident in their subject after completing a workshop, and 92% would recommend EIB courses to a friend!
