This course has now finished. For intensive revision in maths plus 12 other subjects, take a
look at our Easter Revision Course.
Revise one Unit or the whole Maths syllabus
Join only for the Maths units you need to revise. Split between Analysis &
Approaches and Applications & Interpretations, and divided by HL & SL classes.
Programme Schedule
We've designed the course so that you can attend in either the morning or
afternoon sessions, or both. If you feel one particular unit needs extra work, you can always attend twice
to bolster your knowledge and skills.
We are aware that an entire Unit on a complex Maths course
cannot be covered in 3 hours. As such, we will be contacting students ahead of the course to ask which
specific sub-units they would like to cover in each class. In doing so, we will split classes up to group
students together based both on aptitude (predicted grades) as well as the specific course-content they
would like to cover.
Students are of course welcome to join both morning and
afternoon sessions if they would like to cover one specific module in more depth. Say for example, you would
like to really get to grips with Calculus. You could attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, and opt
to take different sub-units during the morning and afternoon sessions.
If you're unsure what you'd
like to cover for sub-units, simply leave this blank at registration and we will assign you to a general
class.
Programme Schedule Please choose either a morning session or
an afternoon session, or both for more in-depth learning.
Classes have an average of just 5 students and the content of each unit is
structured around specific syllabus topics. This means there is time to explore each topic in
depth, ask lots of questions, and focus on your strengths and weaknesses.
Suits Many Times Zones
Two sessions each day mean that students across a range of time zones can
find classes to suit their schedule. Enjoy the opportunity to meet and chat with students
undertaking the same IB challenges as you, without the limitations of geography.
Built Around COVID-19
We built the February Maths Course to respond to the unique challenges of
COVID-19. Whether you need to catch up on a single unit or revise the whole syllabus, our course
can help you get back on track.
Tell us what you want to revise and we'll listen
Maths Analysis and Approaches suggests 55 teaching hours for Calculus at HL. Numbers
and algebra for SL is 19 hours. We're aware that you can't cover everything in an accelerated 3
hour session. That's why, when you register, you'll see we've broken each Unit
(say: Calculus) into 4 sub-units. You'll be asked to select to rank these sub-units in order of
preference. We'll also ask you for your predicted grades.
With this information, you will likely
be placed in a small group of students keen to over similar material, at a similar level to you. If you
really want to go in depth, register for two classes (Morning & Afternoon) and prioritise your choices
differently, that way you'll likely cover everything in a day!
"I appreciated the flexibility of the classes (in terms of being able to choose what to
focus on). There was a great balance between content and practice.”
